Moyshe Kalman trained academically in the United States, where he was born, doing his postgraduate work at Boston University and Boston State Hospital where he worked in classical modes of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. He has also earned a Ph.D. from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in California, the only State Registered degree granting body in the United States specialising in advanced academic work for therapists concentrating on the clinical use of Hypnosis.

He trained in Osteopathy with the Guild School of the Guild of Osteopathy and was a member of that body, at one time serving on its council, until it was absorbed into the General Osteopathic Council. He is a fully registered Osteopath.

He also holds a Heilprakter qualification in Homeopathy from Germany (Weil am Rhine) and has worked in the Homeopathic Health Centre in the West of London. He is a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) which is the only international Naturopathic body representing naturopaths working in the UK who are qualified in the Bauscheidt and related therapies.

He is trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture as well as modern Western Acupuncture and is a trained cosmetic acupuncture.

Moyshe Kalman is a Fellow of the Institute of Analytical Hypnotherapists, the only organisation in the UK representing qualified hypnotherapists using classical Freudian analysis in their practice.
