BAUNSCHEIDTS KUR

Baunscheidt’s cure is a more recent form of counter-irritation from Germany. It is a more complex treatment which must usually be administered over two days and is especially efficient in treating ARTHRITIS of the ELBOWS, KNEES, WRISTS and ANKLES. It can be applied to the neck and spine as well. It consists of applying especially prepared plasters or oils which cause quantities of lymph to be expressed through the skin, bringing with it the acids which cause joint pain. It causes a degree of discomfort over night as the plaster “draws” the acid, but the relief is usually so great that this slight discomfort is well worth the effort.
